Taize Prayer at Mercy Center
Dear Fellow YA,
Every first Friday of every month, Taize Prayer Around the Crossis offered at Mercy Center in Burlingame at 8 p.m. Thisecumenical spiritual experience draws people from all over the BayArea.Taize (named for the town in France where the ecumenical movementoriginated) is simple Christian phrases/chants set to music andthen repeatedly sung in community. Some of you may well befamiliar with Taize heard mostly during Lent (Stay with Me, JesusRemember Me, etc.).The Young Adults of the Diocese of San Jose have a long-standingtradition of monthly carpooling to Mercy Center for Taize, thengoing out for dinner afterward.Carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited and prime seating isat a premium, so it is best to arrive at Mercy Center by 7:30. Please bring a pillow to pray in comfort.See you on First Friday.Peace and God bless,
